Urgent vacancy for an Office administrator apprentice! Gain essential administration skills working alongside CSK Support 24 Ltd in Oldbury! This is an Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 3

Responsibilities

Duties include:

  • To provide accurate and efficient typing support from written and recorded material, utilising Microsoft Office to ensure the layout and appearance meet corporate standards, maintaining confidentiality always
  • To ensure all care staff are inducted in the use of the electronic monitoring system, and the system is being used at each client visit
  • To actively monitor the staff are logging in and logging out of all calls at the clients houses, and to report any non-compliance to the Registered Manager/HR Manager
  • You will support the recruitment process for new employees, ensuring all paperwork and relevant documentation is complete
  • To assist the HR Manager in carrying out Induction for all new employees
  • You will be responsible for dealing with general enquiries from the Council, Social Workers, Nurses, GPs, Service users and their family members. These can be face to face or over the telephone
  • To ensure service users, staff and contact records are kept up to date
  • To make any changes to service users key safe numbers as and when required, and to communicate the changes to staff members
  • To ensure Time sheets are brought into the office on time, and Time sheets are accurately checked
  • To update the system accurately and timely with all new service user’s information
  • To update the packages accepted spreadsheet as and when required
Requirements

Desired skills

  • Good communication skills – Both verbal and written
  • Relevant technical, vocational, or educational qualifications for the role
  • Able to demonstrate high level of numeracy and literacy
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office

Personal qualities

  • Self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to cope under pressure
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Pleasant telephone manner

Desired qualifications

  • Level 2 Business Administration qualification
  • Age 16-18: GCSEs (or equivalent) in maths and English (grades will be discussed at interview)
  • Age 19+: GCSEs at grades A*-D/9-3 (or equivalent) in maths and English are a must
