According to information collated from The Office of National Statistics, in July 2019 the West Midlands employment rate has reached 74% in employment, 5% unemployed, 12.7% Self Employed and 8.3% Not known.

The average salary is £27,900 and an average working week is 31.8 hours. In the West Midlands it is predicted that job growth over the next 5 years will have another 88,000 jobs available in sectors such as:

  • Transport and Storage

  • Professional Services.
